We live in a time that glorifies overloaded schedules and constant availability. The emotional upset caused by our tendency to feel we have to sacrifice our WELL-BEING often provokes a response of self-medicating or adopting dangerous ways of coping that deplete your spirit instead of addressing and healing the source of the problem. This event is for people who want to create INNER SPACE to clear what’s holding you back and connect to what’s propelling you toward joy and optimal health. When we gather as a group with an intention for healing, a powerful collective dynamic appears that can heal broken relationships and long-held physical conditions and re-inspire a sense of purpose in one’s life. When you invest in yourself, change happens. Take this weekend to REST and RESET!

A cleanse may not be the best for everyone. Pregnant women, people who are underweight or diabetic, or those with heart disease, high blood pressure or other chronic ailments, should check with their doctors before attempting a cleanse of any duration. We encourage participants to use the entire day as a juice fast to give the digestive system a rest, and allow for the body’s energy to be used to heal and integrate the powerful meditation work, but you may bring food or snacks. We will also provide snacks.
Please note that NO REFUNDS or credits will be issued for any reason after January 24, 2018.

Jessica Jean Weston is an author, chef and owner of Superfresh! Organic Café in Brattleboro, VT. With a BA in medical anthropology from Ithaca College and as a graduate of the Institute for Integrative Nutrition (IIN), Jessica has spent her career exploring the broad subject of food as medicine with Mayan healers in Belize, on organic farms, and with herbalists, shamanic practitioners, and more. Weston’s personal journey to health, navigating a series of food intolerances as well as what made her feel most vibrant, led her to a non-GMO, plant-based diet free of soy, gluten, dairy, eggs, and meat. Recognizing that everyone has their own path to explore, her goal is simply to share her experiences and knowledge by creating delicious, approachable cuisine with the understanding that no two beings are alike. Read more about her new book, Healing Tonics, Juices, and Smoothies that provides readers with simple recipes that debunk the fanciful mystery of adaptogens, herbs, superfoods, and fermentation for everyday enjoyment, while still dressing to impress all those who happen to grace your kitchen space. With several staple drinks for day-to-day consumption, medicinal shots for prevention and seasonal wellness, and fermented concoctions for an extra special probiotic-rich kick, there’s something for all forms of hydration! As an extra bonus, Weston has included three of her favorite cleanses for detoxing and hitting a reset button during seasonal and major life transitions. Along with the recipes, you’ll find full-color photographs of the drinks, details on the superfoods that are used to make them, and a comprehensive food glossary.
